National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is mandatory for all students (Indian & NRI) seeking MBBS admission in India. The exam tests Physics, Chemistry, and Biology knowledge at 12th-grade level.
After NEET results, register for centralized counselling conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) for All India Quota seats or respective state authorities for state quota seats.
Based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability, you'll be allotted a college. You must physically report to the allotted college within stipulated time with all documents.
Submit original documents for verification and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat. Documents typically include NEET scorecard, 10+2 mark sheet, identity proof, etc.
Once admission is confirmed, attend orientation and begin your medical education at one of India's premier institutions.
The Indian government and private institutions offer multiple scholarship opportunities for deserving medical students:
Government scholarship for medical students from economically weaker sections covering tuition fees and providing maintenance allowance.
Most Indian states offer merit-cum-means scholarships for students pursuing medical education in government colleges.
Private medical colleges often provide partial or full fee waivers for students with outstanding NEET ranks.
Low cost of living with comfortable hostels, nutritious food, and convenient transportation options.
Medical fests, cultural events, sports competitions, and student clubs make campus life exciting.
Interact with students from across India and abroad, experiencing diverse cultures and traditions.
Gain hands-on experience in affiliated hospitals with exposure to varied medical cases.
